A former Scientist/Engineer-SF at ISRO, he holds a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (First Class Hons.) and an M.Tech in Aerospace Engineering from IIT Kharagpur. At ISRO, he played a key role in R&D for indigenous cryogenic upper stages of GSLV MK-2 and MK-3, as well as satellite subsystem design and development, contributing significantly to India’s space advancements.
In 2019, he joined ISRO’s Human Space Flight Centre (HSFC) as Project Executive for the Gaganyaan mission, India’s first human spaceflight program. Beyond ISRO, he continues to drive scientific research and innovation as a Founding Director and Fellow of the Council of Vibration Specialists (CVS), advancing aerospace engineering and vibration technology.
